Indications

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components of Abucel paste.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Treat the skin around the stoma with a warm soapy solution or the recommended antiseptic and dry it with a towel. Important! Apply the paste on clean and dry skin.

Before using, warm up the tube for a few minutes on some closed heat source (heating battery, heater, etc. ) or between your palms, armpit.

Unscrew the tube cap and pierce the protective membrane. Squeeze the paste from the tube onto the skin around the stoma.

Apply only the amount of paste that is necessary to smooth out the roughness of the skin.

Spread the paste with your finger until a smooth surface is obtained. Hold for 20-30 seconds. Stick on a self-adhesive colostomy bag.

The paste can also be applied directly to the sticky ring of single-component colostomy bags or to the sticky ring of the plate of two-component colostomy bags.

If the skin has deep creases or scars, you can fill them in layers, drying the paste for 20-30 seconds. before applying the next coat.

Attention! After squeezing out the paste, quickly and securely close the tube.

ABUCEL Paste Removal: after changing the colostomy bag, wash the skin around the stoma with warm soapy water. Don’t worry if you leave some paste on your skin afterwards. A new layer of paste can be applied to undeleted residues.
