Active ingredients:

sodium fluoride 0.21 mg,

xylitol-300 mg;

Pharmacological action

Addamel H is an almost colorless solution of trace elements intended for adding to infusion solutions.

The contents of one ampoule provide a daily requirement for trace elements.

Indications

Addamel H is used as part of partial and full parenteral nutrition as a supplement that provides the daily requirement for trace elements in adults.

It is possible to use Addamel H during pregnancy.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

It can be used during pregnancy.

There are no data on use during lactation.

When using the drug in nursing mothers, you should refrain from breast-feeding the baby.

Contraindications

Total obstruction of the biliary tract.

Side effects

Against the background of an infusion of Addamel H, all the adverse reactions characteristic of Vamin 14, Vamin 14 without electrolytes, Vamin 18, Vamin Glucose and glucose solutions can occur.

Interaction

Addamel H can only be added to those drugs that are compatible with which there is no doubt.

The following solutions are recommended: Vamin 14, Vamin 14 without electrolytes, Vamin 18, Vamin

Glucose and glucose solutions with a concentration of 50-500 mg / ml.

Mixing of solutions should be carried out under aseptic conditions.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Before use, the drug must be diluted.

For adults,1 ampoule (10 ml) of Addamel H is sterile added to 1000 ml of Vamin 14, Vamin 14 without electrolytes, Vamin 18, Vamin Glucose, or to glucose solutions with a concentration of 50-500 mg / ml.

The resulting solution is stirred with a light shake, then used for parenteral infusions in accordance with the instructions for use of the above drugs.

The resulting solution must be used within 24 hours.

With a moderately high need for trace elements, you can add up to a maximum of 20 ml of Addamel H.

Special instructions

Addamel N should be used with caution in patients with impaired liver and/ or kidney function, since in this group of patients the level of excretion of trace elements can be significantly reduced.

Addamel H should be used with caution in patients with biochemical or clinical signs of impaired liver function (especially in cholestasis).

If the treatment lasts more than 4 weeks, it is necessary to monitor the level of manganese. Addamel H can only be used diluted.
