Pharmacological action

Pharmacological action – anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, detoxifying, sedative. Increases the body’s resistance to microbial flora and viruses. Prevents the development of ENT complications.

It is used in adults and children from 3 to 14 years in the prodromal period and at the stage of detailed clinical manifestations of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections.

It has an antipyretic and moderate sedative effect; reduces the duration and severity of intoxication symptoms (headache, body aches, feeling of weakness) and catarrhal phenomena (runny nose, sore throat, cough). Reduces the risk of complications, can be used as part of complex therapy.

When taken as a preventive measure during the flu epidemic, it reduces the risk of the disease, the severity and duration of its course, and the risk of complications.

Indications

Flu and other acute respiratory infections in adults and children over 3 years of age. Prevention of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections during the epidemic.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children’s age (up to 18 years).

How to take, course of use and dosage

1 tablet at a time, at least 15 minutes before meals, (the tablet should be kept in the mouth until completely dissolved). It is advisable to start taking the drug for therapeutic purposes when the first signs of the disease appear.

In the acute period of the disease (the first two days), the drug is taken 1 tablet every 30 minutes, alternating contour cell packages No. 1 and No. 2, excluding a sleep break. During this period of the disease, the drug can be taken without taking into account the time of food intake.

In the following days (from the 3rd day of admission and until complete recovery), the drug is taken every 2 hours (excluding a sleep break), alternating contour cell packages No. 1 and No. 2.2. As the condition improves, a more rare appointment is possible (2-3 times a day).

For preventive purposes, it is used in the period of influenza and ARVI epidemics,1 tablet in the morning on an empty stomach (alternating contour cell packages No. 1 and No. 2 daily).

Special instructions

The drug contains lactose, and therefore it is not recommended to prescribe it to patients with congenital galactosemia, glucose malabsorption syndrome, or congenital lactase deficiency.

If severe symptoms of the disease persist (fever, chills) within 24 hours from the start of treatment, you should consult a doctor.
