Pharmacological action

Contains 13 vitamins,9 minerals, organic acids and plant extracts.

Vitamin and mineral complex Alfavit Diabetes is developed taking into account the peculiarities of metabolism in people suffering from diabetes. It contains all the necessary vitamins and minerals, as well as lipoic and succinic acids, extracts of blueberry shoots, burdock roots and dandelion. These substances contribute to the prevention of diabetes complications and have a positive effect on glucose tolerance.

Properties of components Dividing a complete set of vitamins and minerals into 3 tablets, taken at intervals of 4-6 hours, increases the effectiveness of the complex and ensures its hypoallergenic effect.

The effect of a vitamin and mineral complex is determined by the properties of its components. Vitamin B1 and zinc play a key role in carbohydrate metabolism.

Chromium is necessary for the formation of the active form of insulin. Vitamins C and E (antioxidants) contribute to the prevention of diabetes complications. Lipoic acid increases glucose uptake, is an antioxidant, and promotes liver regeneration.

Succinic acid restores the sensitivity of cells to insulin, increases its synthesis and secretion, and reduces the severity of diabetic disorders of oxygen supply to tissues. Blueberry shoot extract reduces blood sugar levels, protects the walls of blood vessels, and prevents the development of visual disorders.

Dandelion and burdock extracts help to improve the function of the pancreas and the accumulation of glycogen, which has a positive effect on carbohydrate metabolism, and also contributes to the prevention of cardiovascular complications of diabetes (dandelion extract).

Indications

Alfavit Diabetes is recommended as an additional source of vitamins, macro-and microelements, organic acids for patients with diabetes mellitus.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance of individual components, hyperfunction of the thyroid gland.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Take one tablet of each color per day at breakfast, lunch and dinner (the interval between meals is 4-8 hours).

Tablets are recommended to be taken with a meal, swallowed whole and washed down with a small amount of water.

If the recommended intake schedule has been violated, you can resume it with any pill or take the missed pills along with the next one.

The daily norm – 3 different tablets-can be taken at the same time.

The duration of admission is 1 month.
