Recommendations for use
Cosmetology: St. John’s wort is well established in cosmetology. It has anti-inflammatory, tonic, anti-aging, anti-seborrheic effects. It is used for: acne, oily skin, fading and wrinkles, baldness, pustular skin diseases, cracked heels.
St. John’s wort for acne: For heavy acne rashes on the face, daily evening washes with St. John’s wort infusion are recommended. To do this, take 1 tablespoon of chopped dried herbs, pour 1 cup of boiling water and insist for 20 minutes. Wash your face with the infusion or every night before going to bed, do not get wet with a towel, do not wash it off, let it dry on the skin.
Increased oiliness of the skin: If the skin quickly appears greasy shine, then a decoction of St. John’s wort will help. 2 tablespoons of dried herbs pour 1 cup of boiling water, put on low heat and cook for 10 minutes. Then cool, strain and wipe your face with a cotton pad, allow to dry, rinse with cool water. You can make a mask from steamed St. John’s wort grass. To do this,2 tablespoons of raw materials are poured with 4 tablespoons of boiling water, stirred, allowed to brew. The resulting gruel is applied on a cleanly washed face, avoiding the area around the eyes. Hold for 10-15 minutes. Wash off with cool water. Do it no more than 2 times a week.
Fading and wrinkles: Ice wipes and a lotion based on St. John’s wort will help restore skin tone. For ice wipes, prepare a decoction of St. John’s wort (see the recipe above), cool, strain, freeze, pour into special ice molds. Every morning after washing, wipe your face and decollete area with a piece of ice. To make a lotion, you need to mix 1 cup of St. John’s wort infusion (see the recipe above) and mix with 1 tablespoon of cologne or vodka. Wipe your face and decollete area after washing in the evening before going to bed.
Baldness: For baldness, take one-third of a glass of St. John’s wort infusion orally in 10 minutes. before meals,2 rubles a day.
Pustular skin diseases: With pustular diseases, the affected areas of the skin are wiped with a decoction of St. John’s wort. To prevent the spread of infection to healthy areas, washing is carried out using a cotton pad. Moisten the disc in the broth, squeeze it out slightly, treat the skin with blotting movements in an area with a radius of no more than 3 cm, discard the used disc, take a clean one. Repeat the entire procedure on the next area of skin.
Cracked heels: Foot baths are shown to relieve the condition. To do this, prepare 2 liters of broth at the rate of 4 tablespoons of chopped herbs per 0.5 liters of boiling water, cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Pour into a small basin, cool to a temperature of 45 C? (hot, but tolerable), lower your legs and keep until the broth cools.
