Pharmacological action

Antimony trisulfide is present in stibnite, a mineral that is the main source of antimony sulfide. Currently, it is also produced by chemical synthesis. It is a fine gray powder with metallic inclusions; insoluble in water and alcohol, soluble in potassium carbonate and alkaline sulfides.

In medicine, antimony trisulfide: in low dosages, it was used as an expectorant, and in high doses as an emetic.

Antimony affects the metabolism of carbohydrates and catecholamines, entering into compounds with SH-groups of various enzymes and glutathione.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Sublingual.

Granules should be absorbed in the mouth 30 minutes before meals or 60 minutes after meals.

For children from 0 to 3 years of age, the pellets are pre-diluted, shaking, in 10-15 ml of water at room temperature and given to drink.

The optimal amount per dose is 5 pellets.
