Antipoxmelin is a remedy that slows down the natural work of an enzyme (alcohol dehydrogenase) to oxidize alcohol.
This allows the body to better cope with intoxication, slowly but surely processing alcohol. Also, Antipoxmelin accelerates the reaction of splitting the already formed acetaldehyde and acetic acid to carbon dioxide and water, which means that acetaldehyde is in the body for a minimum time.
