Composition

One suppository contains: Active ingredients: xeroform (bismuth tribromphenolate and bismuth oxide complex) – 0.1 g, belladonna extract – 0.02 g, zinc sulfate – 0.05 g. Auxiliary substances: distilled glycerin (glycerol) – 0.12 g, twin-80 (polysorbate) – 0.011 g, emulsifier T 2 – 0.11 g. Basis for suppositories:  solid fat is a sufficient amount to obtain a suppository weighing from 2.09 to 2.31 g

Pharmacological properties

Anti-hemorrhoidal combined remedy. It has analgesic, local anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antiseptic, astringent and drying effects.

Indications

Hemorrhoids, anal fissures.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, intestinal atony, decompensated heart failure, tachyarrhythmia, myasthenia gravis, angle-closure glaucoma, benign hyperplasia, pregnancy, lactation.

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions, burning sensation in the anus, dry mouth, constipation, loose stools, palpitations, dilated pupils, transient visual disturbances (paresis of accommodation), headache, dizziness, sleep disorders, drowsiness.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Rectally,1 suppository 1-2 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 7 suppositories.

Overdose

Nausea, vomiting, psychomotor agitation, convulsions, urinary retention, decreased sweating, hyperthermia. In these cases, you should stop using the drug and consult a doctor.

Special instructions

The drug should not be used during activities related to the need for concentration of attention, rapid mental and motor reactions (driving vehicles, working on machines, etc. ).
