Pharmacological action

Astrum Vascularis-Complex:

• Improves microcirculation, peripheral (including brain) blood circulation and oxygen supply to the brain.
• It stimulates cellular metabolism.
• Increases the basic energy metabolism (glucose and oxygen assimilation, ATP synthesis, lactate excretion).
• Improves the rheological properties of blood (reduces platelet and red blood cell aggregation, anticoagulant effect, inhibits platelet-activating factor).
• It has a vasodilating effect on small arteries and vasoconstrictor on veins, prevents arterial spasm, regulates the filling of the venous bed in response to a sharp change in body position.
• Reduces the permeability of capillaries and increases their tone, has a decongestant effect.

Contraindications

Side effects

Possible complications in surgical patients – an increased risk of bleeding, especially when combined with other drugs that inhibit platelet aggregation.

Interaction with anticoagulants and aspirin is possible, which leads to an increased risk of bleeding.
