An isolating, wound-healing, antiseptic agent.
Glue BF-6 has a wound-healing and antiseptic effect.
It is used as an insulating agent, promotes healing of small skin wounds due to the formation of an insulating film on their surface.
The film is elastic and resistant to mechanical and chemical influences.
When covering the tooth root with BF-6 glue, conditions are created for isolating the microflora of small root tubules from tissue degradation products.
: Burning sensation at the application site, allergic reactions.
BF-6 glue is applied topically in adults and children.
Before applying the drug, the skin area is thoroughly cleaned of dirt. With a cotton or gauze swab, stop the bleeding and dry the place that needs to be covered with glue.
Glue is applied to the skin in a thin, even layer until the affected area and adjacent undamaged tissues are completely covered. After drying, an elastic film is formed that does not require additional dressing.
In case of violation of the integrity of the film, a new film is applied on top of it.
In the surgical treatment of near-root foci of infection, the tooth root is thoroughly cleaned of granulation and cyst shell, bleeding is stopped, dried and covered with glue the part of the tooth root that protrudes into the defect of the jaw bone tissue, preventing glue from flowing onto the bone.
After 1-2 minutes, the wound is drained, monitoring the filling of the near-root defect of the jaw with a blood clot. Further management of the postoperative period is usual.
The film is formed within 2-5 minutes after applying the BF-6 glue and is firmly held on the skin for 2-3 days, and on the top of the tooth root for up to 7 days.
