Composition

Active ingredients:

Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 (L. reuteri Protectis™) 108 CFU (100 million viable bacteria), sucrose 1.3 mg;

Auxiliary substances:

fillers-isomalt DC 100 (E 953),

isomalt DC 200 (E 953),

sweetener – xylitol (E 967),

encapsulating agent – palm oil,

anti – caking agent-calcium stearate (E 470),

natural lemon – lime flavor,

acidity regulator-citric acid anhydrous (E 330).

About 10% of the culture mix Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 consists of sugars,5% of which is sucrose.

L. reuteri Protectis support and regulate the physiological balance of the intestinal microflora and digestive process. L. reuteri Protectis contribute to the breakdown of lactose, thus produce lactic, acetic acid and contribute to the formation of a substance reuterin, retrocyclin and other antimicrobial substances, which have antagonistic activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms in the digestive tract, including Helicobacter pylori. Thus, L. reuteri Protectis increases the natural protection of the digestive system, creates favorable conditions for the formation of normal intestinal microbiocenosis. Immunostimulating effect of L. reuteri Protectis is associated with the ability to activate the gut immune system as the body’s first line of defense against infections. When chewed, the probiotic effect begins in the oral cavity. L. reuteri Protectis is resistant to gastric juice and bile salts. BioGaia ® tablets are free of lactose and milk protein.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Apply to children aged 3 years and adults 1-2 tablets a day, regardless of food intake.

The tablet is recommended to be chewed.
