Composition

Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli of the most studied species are used in the production of the liquid probiotic Biovestin Lacto:

Bifidobacterium B. adolescentis MS-42 and lactobacillus L. plantarum 8 PA 3.

The number of bifidobacteria and lactobacilli in Biovestin is 100 million CFU / ml.

Pharmacological action

Biovestin is used in complex therapy for intestinal dysfunctions (constipation, bloating); dysbiosis of various origins due to the presence of conditionally pathogenic intestinal microflora; during pregnancy; during prenatal preparation; long-term hormone and radiation therapy; respiratory infections and for their prevention; various manifestations of food allergies; iron deficiency anemia, vitamin deficiency conditions.

The effect of Biovestin is determined by the bifidobacteria of the adolescentis species (Bifidobacterium adolescentis MC-42) contained in it in a live active form.

This strain of bifidobacteria is characterized by a high growth rate, acid-forming ability and high antagonistic activity to a number of opportunistic and pathogenic microorganisms, such as Staphylococcus aureus 209 p, Shigella flexneri 170,337 Shigella flexneri, Shigella sonnei 174 b, Proteus vulgaris F-30, Proteus mirabilis F-196, Escherichia coli O-147.

Strain Bifidobacterium adolescentis MC 42 resistant to therapeutic doses of common antibiotics and can be used at the stage of antibiotic therapy for the prevention of dysbiotic changes.

Indications

Biovestin should be used to restore the intestinal microflora after the use of antibiotics and other antibacterial drugs. In addition, Biovestin should be used in complex therapy for:

• intestinal dysfunctions: constipation, bloating;
• dysbiosis of various origins in the absence of conditionally pathogenic microflora, caused only by a violation of the quantitative and/or qualitative composition of normal microflora;
• prenatal preparation;
• prolonged hormone and radiation therapy;
• respiratory infections and their prevention;
• food allergies;
• iron deficiency anemia, vitamin deficiency states, rickets;
• bacterial vaginosis.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Biovestin can be given to children under 1 year of age.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to Biovestin components; milk protein intolerance.

How to take, course of use and dosage

It is advisable to take biovestin 30 minutes before meals, so that its evacuation from the stomach to the underlying parts of the intestine is carried out as quickly as possible. For a more comfortable reception, you can dilute a single dose in boiled chilled water, milk, juice.

The drug is compatible with all medications, including antibiotics. Reception does not require the withdrawal of medications. In the prevention of dysbiosis, the course of admission is from 2 to 4 weeks twice a year. To restore normal intestinal microflora, the course of use is from 2 weeks to 2-3 months.

Daily doses of Biovestin:

• children under 1 year – up to 1 ml per day;
• children from 1 year to 12 years – up to 6 ml per day;
• adults-up to 12 ml per day;
