Composition

1 lozenge contains:

Active ingredient:

thyme herb extract, liquid (Thymus vulgaris L, sem. Lamiaceae) – 100,000 mg.

The ratio of thyme herb to extractant is 1: 2-2.5.

Extractant:

Ammonia solution 10%,

glycerin 85%,

ethyl alcohol 90% (v / v),

water; in the ratio 1: 20: 70: 109.

Auxiliary substances:

sucrose,

povidone,

levomentol,

cineol,

acacia gum,

stearic acid,

colloidal silicon dioxide,

magnesium stearate.

Pharmacological action

The drug has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory, bronchodilator, antimicrobial effect, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum and accelerate its evacuation.

Indications

As a symptomatic agent in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with difficult to separate sputum.

Contraindications

• Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug;
• chronic heart failure (in the stage of decompensation);
• severe liver and kidney function disorders;
• children (up to 6 years);

Interaction

How to take, course of use and dosage

Take orally, dissolving in the oral cavity. Adults and children over 12 years of age-1-2 lozenges up to 3 times a day. Children from 6 to 12 years — 1 lozenge 3 times a day. The duration of use of the drug is determined by the degree of severity of the symptoms of the disease and its duration.
