Composition
Active ingredients:
ketoprofen 25 mg.
Auxiliary substances:
rectified ethanol (ethyl alcohol),
nipagin,
carbomer,
trometamol,
lavender
oil, neroli oil,
purified water.
Pharmacological action
It has a local anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative and analgesic effect. In the form of a gel, cream provides local treatment of lesions of joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles, skin, veins, lymph vessels and lymph nodes. With joint syndrome, it causes a weakening of arthralgia at rest and during movement, a decrease in morning stiffness and swelling of the joints. The lysine salt of ketoprofen has no catabolic effect on articular cartilage.
Indications
Inflammatory or traumatic lesions of joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles:
- arthritis, periarthritis;
- tendinitis, tendosynovitis;
- bursitis;
- bruises, ligament injuries, dislocations, meniscus injuries of the knee;
- torticollis;
- lumbago.
Phlebitis, periflebitis.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The drug is contraindicated for use during pregnancy and lactation.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ketoprofen or other components of the drug, dermatoses, eczema, infected abrasions and wounds, pregnancy and lactation, childhood.
Side effects
In isolated cases:
allergic reactions that require drug withdrawal, photosensitization.
Interaction
Currently, there are no cases of drug interaction of the drug Bystrumgel® with other drugs.
How to take, course of use and dosage
The drug is applied to the skin of the painful area 2 times / day, squeezing out of the tube about 3-5 cm of gel or more (depending on the area of the painful area), distributed evenly in a thin layer and gently rubbed until completely absorbed.
In order to increase the effectiveness of therapy, it is possible to apply a gel under a dry occlusive dressing.
Overdose
Cases of overdose with the use of the drug Bystrumgel® are not described.
Special instructions
It is not recommended to apply the gel to open wounds or damaged areas of the skin.
Do not allow the gel to get on the mucous membranes and in the eyes.
