Pharmacological action
Centrum-Zn (from A to Zinc) is a combined multivitamin preparation with macro-and microelements, the action of which is determined by the complex of vitamins and minerals that make up its composition.
Retinol (vitamin A) and beta-carotene are powerful antioxidants that protect cellular structures from free radical damage. Participate in the formation of visual pigments; ensure the integrity of epithelial tissues, regulate bone growth.
Tocopherol (vitamin E) is an antioxidant. Provides protection of unsaturated fatty acids in membranes from lipoperoxidation. It is involved in the formation of intercellular substance, connective tissue fibers, vascular smooth muscle, and the digestive tract. Supports the cardiovascular system in a healthy state, ensures the normal functioning of the muscles.
Colecalciferol (vitamin D3) regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body, as well as the process of building the structure of bones; promotes the absorption of calcium in the intestines.
B vitamins are involved in the body’s energy production and metabolism, and strengthen the nervous system. Thiamine (vitamin B1) as a coenzyme is involved in carbohydrate metabolism, the functioning of the nervous system (a necessary factor for transmitting a nerve impulse).
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is an essential catalyst for cellular respiration and visual perception.
Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) as a component of coenzyme A plays an important role in the acetylation and oxidation of carbohydrates and fats.
Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) as a coenzyme is involved in the metabolism of amino acids and proteins, in the synthesis of neurotransmitters.
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), together with folic acid, is involved in the synthesis of nucleotides; it takes part in the formation of red blood cells and nerve cells, and is necessary for the growth of the body.
Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) is involved in the processes of tissue respiration, fat and carbohydrate metabolism.
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) provides collagen synthesis; participates in the metabolism of folic acid and iron, plays an important role in the synthesis of steroid hormones and catecholamines, and strengthens the immune system.
Biotin (vitamin H) plays an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates and fatty acids.
Folic acid is essential for normal erythropoiesis; it takes part in the synthesis of amino acids.
Phytomenadione (vitamin K) is involved in blood clotting processes.
Iron is involved in erythropoiesis, as part of hemoglobin, it provides oxygen transport to tissues.
Calcium is necessary for the formation of bone tissue and teeth; it provides blood clotting processes.
Zinc is involved in the metabolism of nucleic acids, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and hormones.
Potassium is involved in maintaining intracellular osmotic pressure, in the processes of nerve impulses; it plays an important role in the metabolism and function of muscles, including the myocardium.
Magnesium promotes muscle relaxation, utilization of vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium.
Phosphorus plays an important role in metabolic processes, energy metabolism, bone formation, and growth processes.
Copper is involved in tissue respiration, hematopoiesis, and immune responses.
Iodine is essential for the synthesis of hormones and proper functioning of the thyroid gland.
Chromium is involved in the regulation of blood glucose levels and the hormonal status of the body.
Manganese affects the development of bone tissue, participates in tissue respiration, and immune responses.
Molybdenum participates in redox reactions and can act as an enzyme cofactor.
Selenium is involved in the regulation of tissue elasticity and has an antioxidant effect.
Nickel is an important element that is part of biological systems (it is believed that it is part of specific metalloenzymes).
Silicon is involved in the development and maintenance of connective tissue function, is necessary for the biosynthesis of collagen and the process of bone mineralization.
Biotin and silicon are essential for maintaining healthy hair, skin, and nails.
Vanadium contributes to the preservation of a stable state of hemoglobin, participates in the processes of growth and reproductive function.
