CYSTIFLUX Plus is a dietary supplement based on cranberry concentrate standardized and dosed in 1% proanthocyanidin and D-mannose, developed as a natural adjunct to prevent recurrent urinary tract infections, due to the well-known properties of proanthocyanidins and D-mannose to counteract the attachment of bacteria to the uroepithelium. CYSTIFLUX Plus improves the physiological function of the urinary tract. Due to the content in the daily dose of cranberry berry concentrate (at least 36 mg of proanthocyanidin type A) and D-mannose (500 mg): CYSTIFLUX Plus contributes to: maintaining the health of the urinary tract; preventing recurrent urinary tract infections in cystitis; reducing the risk of attachment of uropathogenic bacteria to the cells of the urinary tract epithelium. North American cranberry is a plant with bright red berries. For centuries, it has been considered a product with many health benefits. The Indians used cranberry powder to prevent infection of wounds. In the future, North American cranberries came to Europe, where they are used as a natural ingredient that helps eliminate digestive problems and reduces the temperature. Currently, it is used as a useful food supplement for cystitis. The health-promoting properties of cranberries are due to various phytochemical components contained in the berries that help to eliminate uropathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli in the urine, preventing them from attaching to the walls of the urinary tract. One of the most common diseases of the urinary tract, especially in women, is cystitis: an infectious inflammation of the bladder mucosa: an extremely unpleasant, painful, irritating, frequently recurring or cyclical disease that affects more than 40% of women of fertile age. About 85% of lower urinary tract infections (bladder and urethra) are caused by the bacterium Escherichia coli, which lives in the intestines.
