Pharmacological action

Infusion and decoction of” Elakosept® ” have antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, proteus and some other microorganisms; they have an anti-inflammatory effect and stimulate reparative processes.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Elakosept is used as a freshly prepared water infusion or decoction inside, externally or topically (including by inhalation). To prepare a decoction, about 10 g (3 tablespoons) of the collection is poured with 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, infused for 1 hour, boiled over low heat for 15 minutes, re-infused at room temperature for 45 minutes and filtered without adding additional water. To prepare the infusion, about 10 g (3 tablespoons) of the collection is poured in a thermos of boiling (from the fire) water in a volume of 0.5 liters, closed and infused for two hours, after which it is used undiluted. For oral use, use 1/3 cup of broth 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals in undiluted or diluted (2-4 times) form. Infusion is used according to the same scheme in undiluted form. Externally, a cold decoction or infusion of “Elakosept®” is used undiluted for lotions 1-2 times a day. For inhalation, a decoction or infusion is used in hot (warm) undiluted form, including during procedures on an ultrasound inhaler. For rinsing, irrigation and douching, the broth is diluted 2-4 times, the infusion-2 times. For microclysters, use 50 ml of undiluted warm decoction or infusion. For diseases of the respiratory tract and ENT organs, Elakosept® is used for 2-3 weeks simultaneously orally and topically in the form of rinses and inhalations 2-5 times a day. In dentistry, “Elakosept®” is used for 5-7 days simultaneously inside and topically in the form of rinses, irrigation, lotions and for soaking turundum diluted 2-4 times with warm decoction or infusion 2-5 times a day. In gastroenterology, “Elakosept®” is used orally for 2-3 weeks. In dermatology, “Elakosept®” is used for 2-3 weeks simultaneously inside and out in the form of lotions. In gynecology, the drug is used for 2-4 weeks simultaneously orally and topically 1-2 times a day in the form of douching, irrigation and lotions with a warm diluted decoction or infusion. In urology, the broth “Elakosepta®” is taken orally for 2-3 weeks, topically in the form of microclysters.
