Indications
The key symptoms for prescribing the drug
- are severe spastic pain that causes the patient to “bend in half”;
- the patient constantly screams and complains;
- a feeling of compression “like an iron clamp”.

Painful spastic syndromes
Gastroenterology
- spastic pain in the epigastric region that causes vomiting (gastritis, stomach and duodenal ulcers);
- hepatic colic;
- spastic diseases of the colon, colic in the baby (very painful, relief occurs in the supine position);
- painful diarrhea with strong urges.
Relief of hip flexion pain and / or its occurrence after an attack of anger are sufficient conditions for the appointment of Colocintis.
Urology
- renal colic (especially left-sided), relief occurs when the hip is flexed (on the same side as the pain) towards the pelvis.
Gynecology
- dysmenorrhea: algomenorrhea with spasms (relief is provided by a forced position in which the patient leans forward, pressing the torso to the legs, as well as the use of heat and strong pressure on the painful area).
Neurology
- facial pain:
- unbearable pain, usually on the left side (but not always), caused by a slight pressure on the trigger zone;
- relief occurs with the application of heat, possibly with strong pressure at the beginning of an attack
- sciatic or femoral neuralgia:
- acute ” twitching “and/or” shooting ” pain of a spastic nature, mainly on the left;pain is accompanied by a feeling of numbness;
- relief occurs when bending the hip towards the pelvis, when heating, movement, strong pressure on the painful area;
- increases with stretching movements, in the cold, at rest, with a sharp touch.
