Pharmacological action

Kontraktubex long-acting patch prevents excessive scar tissue formation, reduces redness, itching, and skin tightening sensation.

Thanks to the innovative mechanism of action, the Contractubex patch normalizes the process of scar formation, making it soft, smooth, less noticeable.

1. Occlusion effect (bandages): The soft and airy micro-pillow is specially designed to reduce transepidermal moisture loss by scar tissue in order to create a special moisture-saving environment on the damaged skin area. Additionally, a soft sponge-based material protects the damaged area of the skin.

2. Release of Ingredients: The active release matrix contains Cepalin and Allantoin, which are gradually released when the patch is applied over a period of 6-12 hours.

Active ingredients

Allantoin-promotes healing and reduces itching.

Onion extract-reduces the release of pro-inflammatory mediators in the area of application and has a bactericidal effect.

Indications

21 patches (12×3 cm) provide treatment for large postoperative scars for 3 weeks.

To treat small scars, the patch can be cut into small pieces that fit the size of the scars.
