How to take, course of use and dosage

Prepare a sample for immediate testing:

• Insert a sterile swab into the patient’s nostril.
• Turn the swab over the back of the nasopharynx 3-4 times.
• Place the swab in the extraction buffer tube. While squeezing the tube walls, mix the contents with a swab more than 5 times.
• Remove the swab by squeezing the sides of the tube. Fix the dropper attachment firmly.

If the sample cannot be tested immediately:

• Use 1 ml of viral transport medium instead of an extraction buffer for storage (8 hours at 20 °C,12 hours at 5 °C)
• Using a micro-pipette, select 350 µl from the virus transport medium.
• Transfer the collected volume to a test tube with an extraction buffer, then mix the components thoroughly (the ratio of the virus transport medium solution to the sample and the extraction buffer is 1: 1).
• Fix the dropper attachment firmly.

Performing an analysis:

• Transfer 3 drops of the extracted sample to the special sample recess on the surface of the test cassette.
• Read the test result in 15 to 30 minutes. Do not read the result if more than 30 minutes have passed since the start of testing (sample transfer), this may give false results.

The NowCheck COVID-19 Ag Test reagent kit is designed for high-quality and rapid detection of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen in a nasopharyngeal smear. It is a fast alternative to PCR and does not require laboratory equipment and special conditions.

Sensitivity 89.2%, Specificity 97.3%.

Result

Interpretation of results:

• One color bar (C) in the results window indicates a negative result.
• Two colored bars (C and T) in the results window indicate SARS-CoV-2 positive.
• If the control bar (C) is not visible in the results window, the result is considered invalid

Storage conditions

Store in the manufacturer’s packaging at a temperature of 2 to 30 °C for the entire shelf life of 24 months. Do not freeze it.
