Composition

Dressing base:   breathable, soft perforated nonwoven white polyester (100%)

Adhesive layer: synthetic transparent hypoallergenic rubber adhesive applied in strips

Absorbent pad: consists of 2 layers:

1) wound contact layer: permeable polyethylene mesh

2) absorbent layer: viscose

Characteristics

Self-adhesive wound dressing made of soft non-woven fabric with a special non-adhesive absorbent pad. It has good sorption capacity and protective properties, is skin-friendly due to the hypoallergenic properties of synthetic glue.

Recommendations for use

1. Take a Cosmopor ® package E Depending on the size of the wound, open it. 2. Remove the bandage, remove one part of the paper cover and attach the bandage to the wound, gently smooth and press. 3. Remove the paper cover from the second part of the bandage, attach it in the same way. The pad should completely cover the wound. The dressing is changed individually, but at least once every three days.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance. If you experience redness of the skin, rash, peeling, itching, burning, you should stop using it and consult a doctor.

Description

Cosmopor E is a sterile self-adhesive wound dressing made of soft non-woven fabric with an absorbent pad.

Now the wound dressing is much more convenient: the absorbent pad replaces the gauze/cotton layer of the bandage, and the non-woven material on a self-adhesive basis replaces several layers of the bandage.

Choosing the right size

When choosing the size of the dressing, pay attention to the fact that the size of the absorbent pad should be larger than the size of the wound.
