Pharmacological action
Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid.
Pantothenic acid, a water-soluble B vitamin, is a component of coenzyme A. It stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cellular metabolism, and increases the strength of collagen fibers.
An increase in the need for pantothenic acid is observed when the skin or tissues are damaged, and its deficiency can be compensated by topical application of D-Panthenol Novathenol. Its optimal molecular weight, hydrophilicity and low polarity make it possible for it to penetrate all layers of the skin. It has a regenerating, mild anti-inflammatory effect, nourishes and softens the skin.
Excipients improve the properties of the cream.
