The composition of the drug ” Dandelion P “(205 mg):

• dandelion roots (cryopowder) (80 mg);
• vitamin C (7 mg).

Pharmacological action

Dandelion P-a drug for maintaining joint health. Its tablet form is much more convenient than decoctions, infusions or ointments based on this plant. This drug allows you to influence the main cause of chondropathologies – a low level of cells that restore the structure of cartilage. Dandelion P is a crushed root of a whole plant with all the variety of its active substances. The complete safety of these substances is guaranteed by a rare cryoprocessing technology in Russia. And to enhance the healing properties of the drug, the antioxidant vitamin C is included. Dandelion roots contain from a total volume of up to 40% inulin, a large amount of amino sugars (up to 20%), natural rubber (2-3%). These compounds determine the important medicinal properties of the plant. Dandelion root is also valued for its content of glycoside-type taraxacin (up to 15% by autumn), triterpene compounds, fatty oil, organic acids and alcohols, resinous compounds, bioflavanoids, and mineral compounds, including calcium necessary for the human body.

When inulin or inulin-containing products are consumed, the absorption of calcium is more than doubled, and therefore the mineral density of bones increases.

Taraxacin glycoside stimulates the production of substances in the liver that are factors for restoring cartilage tissue. Dandelion is the only plant that promotes the birth of new cartilage cells – chondrocytes.
