Indications

Long-term use of DERMATIX silicone dressing [transparent and fabric-based] helps to reduce the severity of existing relief hypertrophic and keloid scars at the stage of formation or prevent the formation of such scars, helping to reduce pain, itching, redness and scar height.

Suggested use

STEP 1: Remove the plate from its packaging. If necessary, use a pair of scissors to cut off a piece of the dressing to the appropriate size. The area of the cut fragment should be sufficient to cover the scar and a small area around the scar. STEP 2: Remove the protective paper film and save it for later use. Place the plate, adhesive side down, directly on the scar area. The plate should be placed on the scar area for 12-23 hours a day. STEP 3: Wash the scar area and both sides of the plate at least once a day with mild soap and water. Do not use soaps that contain moisturizers, lotions, or oils. It is recommended to use regular alkaline soap. Rinse the plate thoroughly to remove any remaining soap. Allow the dressing to air dry or pat dry with a lint-free cloth before applying it again. To store the silicone bandage, place it in a protective paper wrap.

Check the scar area regularly to detect signs of a local reaction in a timely manner. Continue to increase the wearing time of the plate until it is as comfortable as possible. If skin problems persist, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Special instructions

PRECAUTIONS for external use only. Do not use the silicone dressing at the same time as creams, lotions or ointments, as these may reduce the effectiveness of Dermatix and/or cause skin irritation.
