Pharmacological action

Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) – found in food, can be produced independently in human skin under the influence of ultraviolet rays. Vitamin D3 regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus, which promotes proper mineralization and the growth of healthy bones and teeth.

A lack of vitamin D leads to softening of bone tissue, so its intake is necessary for the proper formation of the musculoskeletal system.

Vitamin D3 stimulates the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the intestines, increasing their level in the blood, and also contributes to the fixation of phosphorus-calcium salts in the bone skeleton.
