Composition

Ervy woolly grass.

Pharmacological action

Infusion of herb herva woolly has a diuretic, as well as moderate anti-inflammatory effect.

At the same time, the removal of sodium and calcium ions and, to some extent, potassium ions is noted.

When using the drug, there is also a tendency to reduce the content of urea in the blood serum.

Indications

As part of complex therapy in adults as a diuretic for moderate edematous syndrome, infectious and inflammatory kidney diseases (pyelonephritis).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug; osteoporosis;

diseases associated with increased excretion of calcium from the body, including hypoparathyroidism, rickets, and renal osteodystrophy.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding period, children’s age (up to 18 years).

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions, nausea.

How to take, course of use and dosage

About 5 g (2 tablespoons) of erva woolly grass is placed in an enamel dish,200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out.

The volume of the resulting infusion is brought with boiled water to 200 ml.

It is possible to prepare the infusion in a thermos: about 5 g (2 tablespoons) of erva woolly grass pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water and insist for 1 hour.

Take inside in a warm form of 1/4-1/2 cup 2-3 times a day for 15 minutes before meals.

The course of treatment is from 10 to 30 days.

It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Overdose

No overdose cases have been reported so far.

Special instructions

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

The drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms).

Form of production

Pieces of leaves, stems, roots and parts of inflorescences, whole seeds.

The color is greenish-gray with green, light brown, whitish-yellow and rarely white flecks.

The smell is faint.

The taste of water extraction is bitter with a slimy feeling.

Storage conditions

In a dry place, protected from light; prepared infusion – in a cool place for no more than 2 days. Keep out of reach of children! 

Shelf

life is 3 years. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
