Composition

Each resorption tablet contains: Active ingredient:  

• Ambazonee monohydrate 10.0 mg

Auxiliary substances:  

• sucrose 729.0 mg,
• lactose monohydrate 150.0 mg,

Pharmacological action

Pharmacodynamics

It has a bacteriostatic effect. It has a local, antimicrobial effect.

It is active against a number of Gram-positive microorganisms (Streptococcus haemolyticus, Streptococcus viridans, Pneumococcus). It does not affect the intestinal microflora.

Pharmacokinetics

The optimal therapeutic concentration in saliva is achieved on 3-4 days of taking the drug at a dose of 0.03-0.05 g / day.

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx: tonsillitis, gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Pregnant and lactating women should consult their doctor before using the drug. During pregnancy and lactation, it is used only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and child.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Ambazonee and other components of the drug; lactose intolerance, fructose, sucrose/isomaltase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, lactase deficiency; children under 3 years of age.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Locally. Tablets should be dissolved until completely dissolved (15-30 minutes after eating).

After using the tablets, you should refrain from drinking and eating for 3 hours. Adults: 4-5 tablets (0.04-0.05 g) per day. Children: 3 to 7 years old 3 tablets (0.03 g) per day. The course of treatment is 3 -4 days.

Overdose

Cases of Ambazonee overdose are unknown. There is no antidote. Possible overdose can lead to symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort. If an excessive dose is used, it is recommended to flush the stomach.

Special instructions

Do not use the drug if there is an increased individual sensitivity to any component that is part of the drug. The drug is not recommended for use in patients with hereditary sucrose and lactose intolerance. Increasing the dose does not have a greater clinical effect. If symptoms persist or if you experience fever or headache, you should consult a doctor.
