Pharmacodynamics
It has a bacteriostatic effect. It has a local, antimicrobial effect.
It is active against a number of Gram-positive microorganisms (Streptococcus haemolyticus, Streptococcus viridans, Pneumococcus). It does not affect the intestinal microflora.
