The drug Fibro-Vane has a venosclerosing effect, has surface-active properties.
When the drug is introduced into the lumen of a varicose vein, irritation of the vessel intima occurs, followed by fibrosis, adhesion of the vein walls and its obliteration.
It does not significantly affect the functions of the central and peripheral nervous system, the cardiovascular system, kidney and liver functions, and the biochemical parameters of blood and urine.
If it gets into perivascular tissues, it has an irritating effect.

of Fibro-Vane is administered intravenously, into the lumen of an isolated segment of an empty superficial vein with immediate prolonged compression (applying a compression bandage).
The dosage is determined depending on the size of the vein undergoing sclerosis; the usual dose is 1 ml (no more) in one place.
For 1% Fibrowein — the maximum single dose is up to 10 ml. If necessary, additional injections are performed after a 2-week break.
1. Fibro-Vane should be used by doctors who know the technique of sclerotherapy. Valvular insufficiency and the condition of deep veins should be properly evaluated. 2. Sclerosis of the veins is carried out with caution, with absolute confidence in the patency of the deep and communicative veins of the lower extremities. 3. Before starting treatment, it is necessary to know the patient’s allergic history. You can give the patient 0.25-0.5 ml of Fibrovein 24 hours before the start of treatment to detect a possible allergic reaction. 4. Caution should be exercised when treating patients with peripheral atherosclerosis, Burger’s disease. 5. Especially carefully, you need to inject the drug into the area above and behind the medial ankle, because there is a posterior tibial artery. 6. Do not allow extravasal (paravenous) and intra-arterial use. 7. Do not use the product in case of precipitation or discoloration of the solution. 8. When the temperature in the solution decreases, a precipitate may form, which dissolves when heated. 9. To prevent relapses after treatment, patients are recommended to wear elastic stockings.
