Pharmacological action

Fromilide is an antibacterial, bacteriostatic, bactericidal agent.

Indications

• inflammation of the pharynx, larynx, tonsillitis and sinusitis
• bronchitis, pneumonia
• otitis
• media skin and soft tissue infections
• peptic ulcer caused by helicobacter pylori.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics.

How to take, course of use and dosage

For adults, the average dose is 250-500 mg 2 times a day. The duration of treatment is 6-14 days.

For children, the maximum daily dose is 500 mg.

For severe infections or in the absence of oral use, the drug is prescribed intravenously at a dose of 500 mg per day for 2-5 days. Then they switch to taking the drug inside at a dose of 500 mg per day.
