Pharmacological action
Gentos is a complex homeopathic medicine. It has an antiproliferative effect, affects the mechanical component of dysuria in benign prostatic hyperplasia, regulates the smooth muscle tone of the detrusor and the bladder wall, increasing its reservoir-evacuation function, and affects the dynamic component of dysuria in prostatic hyperplasia. Improves urodynamics and uroflowmetric parameters. Gentos has an anti-inflammatory effect, improves microcirculation in the tissues of the genitourinary system. Moderately increases cavernous blood flow, restores erectile function in chronic prostatitis.
Indications
Comprehensive treatment of acute and chronic prostate diseases (benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis)Â – to reduce the symptoms of these diseases; treatment of diseases of the bladder (cystitis, atony of the bladder).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; children under 12 years of age (due to insufficient clinical data).
Use with caution (as directed by your doctor): pregnancy; lactation; thyroid diseases.

How to take, course of use and dosage
Inside,30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal, the drops should be held 20-30 seconds in the mouth before swallowing. Drops are used in pure form or pre-diluted in 1 tbsp. spoon of water.
Chronic prostatitis:  adults — 10 drops 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 3 months.
When exposed to provoking factors — 2-week preventive courses.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (adenoma) :  adults — 10 drops 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 3 months with the transition to maintenance therapy — 1-2 times a day, depending on the severity of dysuria.
Cystitis:  adults and adolescents — 10 drops 3 times a day for 1-2 weeks (for acute cystitis) or 3 times a day for 3 months (for chronic cystitis). After that, if necessary, you can switch to maintenance therapy-1-2 times a day.
Urinary disorders (frequent urination, nocturnal urination, incomplete emptying of the bladder):  adults and adolescents — 10 drops 3 times a day for 2 weeks (with acute disorders) or 3 times a day for 3 months (with chronic course). After that, if necessary, you can switch to maintenance therapy-1-2 times a day.
At the beginning of the disease, as well as in cases requiring rapid relief of symptoms, it is possible to take 8-10 drops every 0.5–1 hour, until the condition improves, but no more than 8 times, and then take 3 times a day.
Special instructions
If you have prostate cancer, you should consult a doctor; since the drug contains natural plant components, during storage there may be a slight turbidity and weakening of the smell and taste, which does not lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug.
