Composition

Composition per 1 ampoule (3 ml): Active ingredient: a solution of low-molecular-weight sugars* – 12 mg. Auxiliary components: sodium chloride, water for injection. * It is a solution of low-molecular-weight sugars obtained from honey (N-pentose, glucose, sucrose, mannose, galactose, fructose, lactose).

Pharmacological action

Heptong has an antioxidant effect, helps to stabilize and reduce the permeability of hepatocyte membranes;Reduces the activity of markers of hepatocyte damage in the blood serum – ALT, ACT, ALP, GGTP enzymes;Enhances the antitoxic function of the liver, improves its protein – synthesizing and lipid-forming functions;Reduces inflammatory changes in the liver, which leads to a decrease in the activity of the destructive process in it, reduces the intensity and accelerates the disappearance of clinical manifestations of hepatitis (dyspeptic, cholestatic and asthenovegetative symptoms, hepatomegaly);The drug is usually well tolerated, without causing pain at the injection site;The drug is fully included in the metabolic cycle, the final product of metabolism is carbon dioxide and water.

Indications

• As part of the complex therapy of alcoholic liver disease at any stage;
• As part of the complex therapy of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (as part of complex therapy);
• As part of the complex therapy of medicinal liver damage;
• As part of the complex therapy of toxic liver damage;
• As part of the complex therapy of cirrhosis of the liver in the stage of compensation and subcompensation (as part of complex therapy);
• As part of the complex therapy of toxicosis in pregnant women.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The question of using the drug during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) is decided individually and depending on the clinical situation.

Contraindications

Any form of hypersensitivity and intolerance to honey and products containing it; hypersensitivity to the stings of bees, wasps and other hymenopteran insects.

Side effects

In some cases, there is insomnia, increased appetite.

How to take, course of use and dosage

The drug is administered intramuscularly, deeply, in the upper outer quadrant of the gluteal muscle for 6 ml according to the following schemes: with alcoholic liver disease – 1 time a day according to the scheme 1,2,3 day-3 ml; 4,5 day-6 ml; 6,7 day-9 ml; 8,9 day-6 ml; 10,11,12 day – 3 ml;with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis 1 time a day according to the scheme:   1,2,3 day – 3 ml; 4,5 day-6 ml; 6,7 day-9 ml; 8,9 day-6 ml; 10,11,12 day – 3 ml; 3-4 courses within six months. for medicinal and toxic liver damage,6 ml / m for the first 6 days, then 3 ml / m daily, depending on the patient’s clinical condition. for cirrhosis of the liver: 6 ml 1 time a day. The course is 10-15 days. for toxicosis of pregnant women: 6 ml in/m for the first 6 days, then 3 ml in / m daily, depending on the patient’s clinical condition.

Overdose

No cases of overdose have been reported so far.

Special instructions

Use with caution in diabetes mellitus (under the control of blood glucose). The carbohydrate content in 1 ampoule of the drug corresponds to 0.001 bread units.
