Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as to plants of the araliaceae family, pregnancy, breastfeeding, fructose intolerance, children under 12 years of age.

1 Common Ivy leaf extract dry produce from Common Ivy leaves (Hedera Helix L., Araliaceae family).
The ratio of the amount of medicinal plant raw materials to the amount of the initial extract: 5-7.5 : 1.
Extractant: ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 30% (m/m).
2 Caramel flavor contains: natural flavoring substance, flavoring preparation, propylene glycol (E1520), water.
3 Citrus flavor contains: natural flavoring substance, flavoring preparation, butylhydroxyanisole (E 320).

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Herbal cough medicine. It has expectorant, mucolytic and bronchospasmolytic effects. Reduces the viscosity of sputum and promotes its discharge.
Pharmacokinetics
The drug is a dry extract of ivy leaves and contains a complex of biologically active substances (triterpene saponins), and therefore pharmacokinetic studies are not possible.

Safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. Due to insufficient data on the safety of using dry ivy leaf extract in pregnant women and during breastfeeding, Herbion® ivy is contraindicated for use in these groups of patients. Data on the effect on fertility are not available.
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as to plants of the araliaceae family, pregnancy, breastfeeding, fructose intolerance, children under 12 years of age.

Possible allergic reactions and individual intolerance reactions (skin rash, pruritus, shortness of breath, anaphylactic reaction). Gastrointestinal reactions (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) have been reported (frequency unknown). If you experience any of the side effects listed in the instructions, or they get worse, or you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, tell your doctor.
There are no reports of drug interactions between Herbion® ivy and other medicinal products. The drug should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs that reduce the formation of sputum, because this makes it difficult to remove the diluted sputum.
Contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.
Children aged 12 years and older: 1 tablet for resorption 3 times a day.
Applications in chronic diseases
It is contraindicated in patients with fructose intolerance.
Use with caution for gastritis, stomach ulcers.
Dosage and use method
Adults and children aged 12 years and older: 1 tablet for resorption 3 times a day.
The tablet should be absorbed in the mouth until completely dissolved. Tablets for resorption should not be taken directly before or during meals.
During treatment with Herbion ® ivy, it is recommended to consume a sufficient amount of liquid in a warm form (water, tea, etc. ), but not immediately after resorption of the tablet.
The duration of treatment is 7 days. A second course is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.
Symptoms: high doses (three times the recommended daily dose) may cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.
Round tablets with beveled edges with a rough surface from light brown to brown in color. It is allowed to have inclusions from yellow to brown, light spots, the presence of air bubbles and slight unevenness of the edges.
Do not take Herbion® ivy in doses exceeding those recommended in the instructions.
In case of respiratory diseases accompanied by shortness of breath, fever, prolonged cough or sputum mixed with blood, you should immediately consult a doctor.
If there is no effect on the background of treatment with the drug for 7 days or the condition worsens, you should consult a doctor.
For children aged 2 to 12 years, it is recommended to take Herbion® ivy syrup.
Special information on excipients
Herbion ® Ivy, resorption tablets, contains isomalt (type M) (E953).1 tablet for resorption contains 2447.5 mg of isomalt. This should be considered in patients with fructose intolerance (see section “Contraindications”).
The drug contains butylhydroxyanisole (E320): local skin reactions are possible (for example, contact dermatitis) or irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.
Impact on the management of vehicles and mechanisms
There are no data on the effect of Herbion® ivy on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

8 tablets each in a blister of combined PVC / polyethylene material/PVDH-aluminum foil.
1,2,3,4 or 5 blisters are placed in a cardboard pack together with the instructions for use.
