Composition

Pharmacological action

Biologically active substances of ginkgo biloba leaf extract:  

— help to strengthen and increase the elasticity of the vascular wall —

– improve the rheological properties of blood and, as a result, improve microcirculation, supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain and peripheral tissues.

Medication:  

– improves cerebral blood circulation —

– has cerebroprotective properties; 

– reduces the permeability of the vascular wall (decongestant effect-both at the level of the brain and at the periphery).

— normalizes the metabolism in cells;

– prevents the aggregation of red blood cells;

– inhibits platelet activation factor;

– prevents the increase in blood fibrinolytic activity;

– prevents the formation of free radicals and lipid peroxidation of cell membranes;

– has a dose-dependent regulatory effect on the vascular system, dilates small arteries, increases vein tone, regulates blood filling of blood vessels.

– increases the body’s resistance to hypoxia, especially brain tissue, inhibits the development of traumatic or toxic brain edema.

Indications

-Dyscirculatory encephalopathy (consequences of stroke, traumatic brain injury, senile age), manifested by attention and/or memory disorders, decreased intellectual abilities, anxiety, fear, sleep disorders; – dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease — – to improve memory and attention in young people; — sensorineural disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, hypo-infusion), senile macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy — – asthenic conditions: psychogenic, neurotic, caused by traumatic brain damage; – disorders of peripheral blood circulation and microcirculation, including arteriopathy of the lower extremities, Raynaud’s syndrome.

Recommendations for use

Adults take 1-2 tablets 3 times a day with meals. The duration of admission is at least 3 months. It is recommended to repeat the procedure 2 times a year.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components, pregnancy, breast-feeding. Please consult your doctor before use.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Ginkgo Biloba C is prescribed orally, during or after meals,2 or 3 times a day, washed down with water. Tablets should be swallowed whole.

Dyscirculatory encephalopathy:  120-160 mg of standardized extract per day.

Asthenic disorders:  240 mg per day.

Dementia:  120-240 mg per day.

Disorders of peripheral blood circulation and microcirculation:  120-160 mg per day.

In other cases:  120-160 mg per day.

On the recommendation of a doctor, the daily dose may be increased.

The course of treatment is from 3 to 6 months.

Clinical improvement is observed after approximately 4 weeks of treatment.

With prolonged use, the positive effect remains.

A second course is possible after consulting a doctor.
