Pharmacological action
Hyruan Plus is an important development in the treatment of osteoarthrosis/of osteoarthritis (OA), reducing the severity of pain syndrome in traumatic and degenerative changes in the joints.
Hyruan Plus in the form of intra-articular injections serves as a shock absorber and lubricant, it is prescribed:
* pain and limited mobility caused by degenerative-dystrophic and traumatic changes in the knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle joints;• in the treatment of patients who lead an active lifestyle and regularly load the affected joint;• in the treatment of patients who do not reduce the severity of pain syndrome against the background of taking analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as against the background of special exercises and physiotherapy. The active ingredient of Hyruan Plus, sodium hyaluronate, is one of the most important molecular components of all human body tissues. Hyruan Plus is designed to replace altered synovial fluid.
Indications
Hyruan Plus is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis/osteoarthritis (OA) of weight-bearing joints, including the knee, shoulder, hip and ankle joints.
Recommendations for use
Hyruan Plus is prescribed for adults for intra-articular use 1 time a week (with a break in a week) with a total course of 3 injections and should be administered using a sterile needle. Manipulation should be performed by a trained specialist. General precautions are the same as for any intra-articular injection. As with any invasive joint manipulation, there is a low probability of developing an infection.
Contraindications
Do not prescribe Hyruan Plus to patients with known hypersensitivity (allergy) to drugs containing sodium hyaluronate.
Side effects
Hypersensitivity (allergy) – swelling, redness of the face, rash, hives, itching. If these symptoms occur, you should stop using Hyruan Plus and take appropriate measures. Possible side effects at the injection site are pain (mostly transient pain after injection), rarely swelling, redness, a feeling of heat and local compression. Other possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, and fever.

Special instructions
Hyruan Plus should be prescribed with caution to patients who have hypersensitivity to other hyaluronic acid preparations, as well as skin diseases or infectious skin lesions at the site of the planned injection. Do not inject Hyruan Plus into other synovial tissues or capsules (any extra-articular application). Intravascular use of Hyruan Plus may lead to the development of systemic adverse reactions.
