Glycerin is a laxative for topical use.
Glycerin has a mild irritating effect on the rectal mucosa and reflexively stimulates peristalsis.
Promotes softening of fecal matter.
When applied externally, Glycerin has a dermatoprotective effect, softens the skin and mucous membranes.

Acute hemorrhoids, anal fissures, inflammatory diseases and rectal tumors; hypersensitivity to glycerol.
With prolonged external use of Glycerin: Â irritation, allergic reactions.
With systemic use of carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, it potentiates the effects of diuretics.
Externally-lubricate the affected areas as needed.
With systemic use, symptoms: arrhythmia, renal failure, headache, dizziness, confusion, dry mouth or increased thirst, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, severe dehydration.
Constant use of Glycerol is not recommended. When used as a laxative, treatment is discontinued after normal intestinal motility is restored.
Solution for external and topical use
The drug should be stored out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
