Pharmacological action

of”Babushkin syrup” – this is a combination drug, the components of which help to relieve the painful symptoms that occur with coughs and colds. Medicinal herbs, honey and vitamin C have mucolytic (diluting sputum) and expectorant effects, relieve tissue irritation during inflammatory phenomena and increase the body’s defenses. All ingredients are selected in quantities and proportions in accordance with the proprietary recipe, taking into account the absence of cross-interaction and potentiate each other as effectively as possible.

Active ingredients

Psyllium-has mucolytic, antimicrobial and expectorant properties.

Raspberry leaves-have an anti-inflammatory effect. Its leaves increase metabolism and have a diuretic effect, thereby improving kidney function.

Vitamin C-enhances reparative processes, increases the body’s resistance to infections.

Mother-and-stepmother-has an enveloping effect on the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat and larynx, protecting them from irritation, softens and dilutes dry discharge in the upper respiratory tract, restores the natural movement of ciliated epithelium in the trachea and bronchi, promotes faster evacuation of inflammatory products and significantly improves expectoration of sputum.

Honey-contains almost all the chemical elements necessary for the proper functioning of the human body, which assimilates it 100%. Honey increases the body’s resistance to external influences, heals all internal organs, increases strength, normalizes sleep and prolongs life.

Thyme-contains a mixture of essential oils that have expectorant (by diluting sputum and enhancing the motor activity of the bronchi), anti-inflammatory, light antispasmodic (relaxes the muscles of the bronchi) effects.

Elecampane-has expectorant, bactericidal, diuretic and tonic effects. It is very effective for coughing and bronchitis with thick discharge.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Adults and children over 14 years of age: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day with meals.

The duration of admission is 20 days.

 After a 10-day break, a second appointment is recommended, and repeated appointments are possible throughout the year.
