Hawthorn fruit is a cardiotonic remedy of plant origin.
Infusion of hawthorn fruit has cardiotonic, antispasmodic, moderate sedative effect, shows antihypertensive properties, normalizes blood clotting parameters.

Possible allergic reactions.
With prolonged use of the drug in large doses, drowsiness, decreased blood pressure, and bradycardia are possible.
When combined with cardiac glycosides, the cardiotonic effect increases; with betadren blockers, the hypotensive effect increases.
About 15 g of hawthorn fruit is placed in an enamel dish,200 ml of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out.
The volume of the resulting infusion is brought with boiled water to 200 ml.
Take inside 1/2-1/3 cup 2-3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.
Blood pressure monitoring is necessary during treatment.
