Hydrocoll thin is a sterile, self-adhesive, absorbent hydrocolloid wound dressing coated with a gas-permeable, water-repellent film that prevents the penetration of microorganisms.

Functional features

• Upon contact with the wound, the hydrocolloid captures the wound exudate, resulting in a gel that provides a moist environment for healing.
• The gel layer prevents Hydrocoll thin from sticking to the wound.
• The dressing does not irritate granulation or epithelial tissue and causes minimal discomfort for the patient.
• The gel retains its absorbency until the hydrocolloids are saturated, which is manifested by the deformation of the dressing in the form of a bubble.
