Antiseptic for external and topical use
Hypersensitivity to hydrogen peroxide.
Possible: Â burning sensation at the time of wound treatment; in some cases – allergic reactions.
A solution of hydrogen peroxide is unstable in an alkaline environment, in the presence of metal salts, complex radicals of some oxidants, as well as in light and heat.
Externally, a prepared 1% solution is used. A prepared 0.25% solution is used to rinse the mouth and throat.
