Composition
Composition 100 ml of suspension:  active substance: ibuprofen – 2 g; auxiliary components:  dihydrate sodium phosphate – 0,46 g;propylene glycol – 1,71 g;parahydroxybenzoate – 0.05 g; citric acid monohydrate is 0.91 g; crospovidon – 0,14 g;sodium saccharin – 0.25 g; glycerol – 5.7 g; sodium carmellose – 0,97 g; methyl parahydroxybenzoate – 0,15 g;glycerylmonostearate macrogol – 1,14 g; sucrose is 34.2 g;magnesium aluminum silicate (Veegum) – 0,57 g; dye sunset yellow (E110) – 0.02 g;orange flavor – 0,34 g; purified water to 100 ml.
Pharmacological action
A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug derived from phenylpropionic acid.
It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. The effect of the drug is due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by blocking the cyclooxygenase enzyme.
Inhibits platelet aggregation. With prolonged use, it has a desensitizing effect.
Indications
- rheumatoid arthritis;

Contraindications
- erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract in the acute
- stage; “aspirin” triad;
- hematopoiesis disorders;
- ulcerative colitis;
- diseases of the optic nerve;
- severe renal and/or liver function disorders;
- children under 6 years of age;
- hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side effects
Possible: nausea, anorexia, flatulence, constipation, heartburn, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, agitation, insomnia, allergic reactions in the form of skin rash, visual impairment.
There are cases of erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract.
Rare: gastrointestinal bleeding, aseptic meningitis, bronchospasm.
Interaction
Ibuprofen may reduce the diuretic effect of furosemide when administered concomitantly.
When used together, Ibuprofen enhances the effect of diphenin, coumarin-type anticoagulants, and oral hypoglycemic drugs.
How to take, course of use and dosage
For rheumatoid arthritis,800 mg is prescribed 3 times a day.
For osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, Ibuprofen is used 400-600 mg 3-4 times a day.
In juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the drug is used at a dose of 30-40 mg/kg of body weight per day.
For soft tissue injuries, sprains of ligaments, the drug is prescribed 600 mg 2-3 times a day.
For moderate-intensity pain, the drug is prescribed 400 mg 3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 2.4 g.
Special instructions
With caution, the drug is prescribed to patients with impaired liver function, kidney function, diseases of the cardiovascular system, with a history of peptic ulcer of the stomach and / or duodenum, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract.
Compared to other NSAIDs, Ibuprofen has the least ulcerogenic effect on the gastrointestinal mucosa.
With prolonged use of the drug, it is necessary to monitor the function of the liver and / or kidneys, the picture of peripheral blood. During pregnancy, the drug should be used only as prescribed by a doctor.
