Composition

Per 1 ml: Active ingredients: sodium chloride-30 mg, sodium hyaluronate -1.0 mg, Excipients: water for injection-up to 1 ml

Pharmacological action

Ingasalin®solution forte is designed to accelerate the discharge of viscous secretions (sputum) in the respiratory tract due to the osmotic mechanism. The high salt concentration attracts water and promotes rehydration of bronchial mucus.

Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) – a component of Ingasalin® forte, has the ability to bind a large number of water molecules and keep them in the interfibrillary space, participates in protective mechanisms, stimulating the movement of cilia, protects lung tissue from the harmful effects of enzymes.

Due to the presence of hyaluronic acid in the composition of Ingasalin® forte significantly improves patient tolerance and adherence to therapy.

Ingasalin® forte is especially indicated for patients with cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis.

Ingasalin®Medical Device forte is intended for independent use at home, as well as for use in medical institutions.

Indications

Diseases of the respiratory system that are accompanied by difficult separation of viscous secretions (sputum) in the respiratory tract:

• acute bronchitis;
• exacerbation of chronic bronchitis;
• bronchiectasis;
• cystic fibrosis.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

There are no data on the use of Ingasalin® forte during pregnancy and lactation.

Recommendations for use

It is recommended to use any jet or membrane nebulizer. An ultrasonic inhaler (for example, the SOLOPHARM NM211E ultrasonic Inhaler) can be used for Ingasalin® solution.

Breathing should be at a normal pace during inhalation therapy, which lasts about 10 minutes.

For inhalation, use a solution at room temperature.

Apply 1 ampoule (4 or 5 ml) of the solution 2 times / day or according to the doctor’s prescription. Treatment can start with a smaller amount of the solution and increase the dose gradually.

Procedure for working with the solution

1. Please read the nebulizer manufacturer’s instructions before using the solution.

2. Prepare the nebulizer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

3. Take the ampoule and shake it while holding the neck

4. Squeeze the ampoule by hand, while the solution should not be released, and rotate and separate the valve with rotating movements

5. Squeeze the solution into the nebulizer tank

6. Use the nebulizer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

7. The solution left unused in the nebulizer chamber should be emptied immediately after each use.

8. Wash the nebulizer thoroughly.

Follow the instructions for use, maintenance, and cleaning of the nebulizer.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the solution.

Side effects

Possible:  allergic reactions.

Special instructions

The solution belongs to individual and single-use products.

Ingasalin® forte is intended for inhalation only.

The first application of the solution should be under the supervision of a doctor or qualified personnel.

The use of the solution by children should be supervised by an adult.

Especially sensitive people to the solution at the beginning of treatment, premedication with bronchodilators is recommended, which help prevent bronchospasmodic reactions. Premedication with bronchodilators should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor.

In the event of an attack of bronchospasm or persistent cough, the patient should interrupt treatment and inform the attending physician.

Do not use the solution if during the first opening of the ampoule it was noticed that it was damaged or loosely closed.

Do not reuse the remaining contents of the ampoule.

Do not mix the hypertonic solution with other drugs.

Disposal procedure

It is allowed to dispose of the product (including unused solution) in accordance with SanPiN 2.1.7.2790 as Class A waste (epidemiologically safe waste, close in composition to solid household waste).

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

The ability to drive vehicles, operate machinery, or engage in other potentially hazardous activities is unlikely to be affected if the solution is used correctly.

Ingasalin® forte does not apply to products that can affect the psychomotor state of a person.

Storage conditions

Ingasalin® forte should be kept out of the reach of children at temperatures between 2°C and 30°C.

Shelf

life is 3 years. Do not use after the expiration date.
