Description

INTEX elastic bandages stretch very well, are resistant to deformations and sprains, do not slip and are securely fixed, are reusable goods and can be used as a therapeutic agent without a doctor’s prescription. Included with the elastic bandages are two clips. Elastic compression bandages “INTEX” of medium stretchability (the stretchability of the bandage is not less than 100%) are used during the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the veins, varicose veins, traumatic complications (dislocations, edema, sprains), lymphostasis of various origins and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. Often bandages with medium stretchability are used after removal of veins and similar surgical procedures, as well as sclerotherapy, including catheter. The pressure exerted by bandages of medium stretchability corresponds to compression class 2-3 in the classification of medical underwear with compression. Compression bandages provide pressure on any part of the body. During movement, the compression effect of bandages increases (active compression), at rest-comes to the initial one, laid down when applying the bandage. The products are made of cotton, latex, and polyester fibers. A high cotton content reduces the likelihood of developing skin reactions and allergies. The structure of the canvas of compression bandages does not complicate skin breathing, cotton absorbs moisture and skin secretions well.
