Pharmacological action
Decoction of rhizomes and roots of elecampane has an expectorant effect.
Indications
It is used in adults and children over 12 years of age as an expectorant for diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
Recommendations for use
About 16 g (1 tablespoon) of crushed rhizomes and roots are placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, cool at room temperature for 10 minutes, filter, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting broth is brought with boiled water to 200 ml. Take inside in a warm form of 1/2-1/3 cup 2-3 times a day for 1 hour before meals. The course of treatment is 2 weeks. It is recommended to shake the broth before use.

Storage conditions
Store in a dry place, protected from light. The finished broth is stored in a cool place for no more than 2 days. Keep out of reach of children.
