Composition

Active ingredient:

80 mg of water extract of Icelandic moss (0.4-0.8 : 1).

Pharmacological action

Isla Moos improves the functional state of the respiratory system. It can be used with increased load on the vocal cords, when inhaling insufficiently humidified air during the heating season.

Helps reduce sore throat, hoarseness and hoarseness of the voice.

Helps eliminate dryness and irritation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa (during stay in dry rooms, air-conditioned rooms, in polluted air, during sports).

Indications

• inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by reflex cough, hoarseness: laryngitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, bronchial asthma (as part of complex therapy)
• increased load on the vocal cords of singers, teachers, lecturers
• dry mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract in residential and office premises during the heating period, as well as with limited nasal breathing or during sports activities.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components, pregnancy, breast-feeding, children under 14 years of age.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age:  take 1 lozenge every hour (up to 12 lozenges a day), allowing them to slowly dissolve in the mouth.

Children from 4 to 12 years old:  take 1 lozenge every 2 hours (up to 6 lozenges a day), allowing them to slowly dissolve in the mouth.

Due to the good tolerability of the drug Isla-Moos lozenges can be used without any fear for a long time. If there is no improvement in the condition after 10 days of using the drug, it is necessary to change the treatment strategy. In addition, even after eliminating the symptoms of the disease, Isla-Moos should be taken for another 2-3 days in order to achieve a lasting therapeutic effect.

Prevention:  for the purpose of seasonal prevention of respiratory diseases, it is recommended to take the drug in the above doses.

For preventive purposes, to protect the respiratory tract with increased stress on them (a feeling of tickling in the throat or increased load, for example, speech, sports), take the drug Isla-Moos 1 lozenge several times a day, allowing them to slowly dissolve in the mouth, without exceeding the maximum daily dose.
