Pharmacological action

Pharmaco-therapeutic group: Homeopathic mediatepharmacological action Kalium iodatum is a colorless or opalescent crystals with a bitter-salty taste, soluble in water and alcohol.

Indications

The key symptoms for prescribing the drug

• are pain syndrome (pressure pains of various localization in the head area);
• irritability of the mucous membranes with copious discharge.

Main cases of clinical use

Otorhinolaryngology

• acute and allergic rhinosinusitis with burning, watery, profuse discharge, accompanied by sneezing and lacrimation;
• acute frontitis, accompanied by redness and swelling of the nose, with a feeling of compression at the base of the nose;
• subacute laryngitis with dysphonia caused by moderate swelling.

Ophthalmology

• allergic or infectious conjunctivitis.

Rheumatology

• arthralgia, worse at night or from a warm wind before rain;
• joint pain, accompanied by a desire to move and be in the fresh air;
• night pain in the bones;
• arthralgia caused by hyperuricemia.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Sublingual.

Granules should be absorbed in the mouth 30 minutes before meals or 60 minutes after meals.

For children from 0 to 3 years of age, the pellets are pre-diluted, shaking, in 10-15 ml of water at room temperature and given to drink.

The optimal amount per dose is 5 pellets.

Overdose

So far, no overdose cases have been reported.
