Composition
Active ingredient: ketoprofen lysine salt — 16.0 mg. Auxiliary substances: glycerol — 200,0 mg, ethanol (ethyl alcohol 95%) in terms of absolute alcohol to 40.0 mg (37,0 mg), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (nipagin) – 1,5 mg, levomenthol (L-menthol) – 0,70 mg, sodium saccharin –Nd 2.0 mg, sodium hydrogen phosphate, dodecahydrate – 0,78 mg, flavor mint of 2.40 mg of brilliant green – 0.016 mg, purified water – up to 1 ml.
Pharmacological action
It has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic effect. By inhibiting cyclooxygenase type I and II, it inhibits the synthesis of inflammatory mediators (prostaglandins, thromboxane, etc. ). It stabilizes lysosomal membranes and delays the release of enzymes that promote tissue destruction during inflammation. Inhibits neutrophil activity. It has anti-radikinin activity. The drug does not have an antibacterial effect. Pharmacokinetics A single dose of 160 mg leads to a plasma level of less than 400 ng / ml, insufficient for systemic action.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract – tonsillitis (sore throat), laryngitis, pharyngitis; inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity stomatitis, gingivitis, glossitis, aphthus, periodontal disease, chronic periodontal disease; as an analgesic agent for dental manipulations. Use during pregnancy and lactation
The use of the drug in the third trimester of pregnancy is contraindicated. The use of the drug in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy is possible only after consultation with a doctor, if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus. The use of the drug during breastfeeding is not recommended.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ketoprofen and other components of the drug, acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs, complete or incomplete combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent polyposis or paranasal sinuses and intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs (including in the anamnesis), children under 12 years of age.
With caution
Erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (exacerbation), Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, peptic ulcer, hemophilia, etc. blood clotting disorders, chronic heart failure, bronchial asthma, old age, pregnancy (I and II trimester).

How to take, course of use and dosage
For mouthwash. 10 ml of the drug (dose for 1 application) should be measured using a measuring cup included in the package, and diluted in 100 ml (half a glass) of drinking water. Overdose

Special instructions
Prolonged use may cause hypersensitivity reactions.

With high doses and a long course of treatment, absorbed ketoprofen can compete with other drugs that have a high affinity for plasma proteins.
The drug contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate, which can cause allergic reactions (including delayed-type allergic reactions).
