Pharmacological action
This antibiotic from the lincosamide group affects all strains Propionibacterium acnes. After application to the skin surface, the product quickly penetrates the upper layers, accumulates in comedones, showing significant antibacterial activity.
At the same time, the average concentration of an antibiotic in the composition of comedones exceeds the minimum indicator of suppressing strains. Propionibacterium acnes, which are the causative agents of acne. From the moment the gel is applied to the skin, a fairly low concentration of clindamycin is detected in the blood plasma and urine.
Indications
Acne.
