Pharmacological action

Ledum palustre (wild rosemary) is a shrub that grows in the wetter regions of Europe, Asia and America, with linear felt leaves with a reddish underside.

Chemical composition: • essential oil with anti-inflammatory effect• * flavonoids;• triterpenes.

Indications

The key symptoms for prescribing the drug

• are a feeling of bruising followed by numbness;
• painful sensitivity of the plantar surface of the feet;
• a feeling of” burning ” heat in the joints, joint pain;
• itching of the skin.

Main cases of clinical use

Traumatology

• traumatic bruising, especially around the eyes (bruise), formed when exposed to a blunt object. Ledum palustre is combined with Arnica Montana;
• wounds caused by piercing objects (spikes, nails);
• insect or animal bites.

Most of the time, Ledum palustre is used simultaneously with Apis mellifica.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Sublingual.

Granules should be absorbed in the mouth 30 minutes before meals or 60 minutes after meals.

For children from 0 to 3 years of age, the pellets are pre-diluted, shaking, in 10-15 ml of water at room temperature and given to drink.

The optimal amount per dose is 5 pellets.

Overdose

So far, no overdose cases have been reported.
