Composition

100% natural sea water. Isotonic natural sterile seawater with a sodium chloride (NaCl) content of 9 g / l, with an osmolality index of 200-400 mOsm/kg. Contains all the active ingredients and trace elements of seawater: K, Mg, Na, Ca, Cl, Se, I, Zn, Cu, Fe, etc

Pharmacological action

Local anti-inflammatory medicine.

Sea water, sterilized and reduced to an isotonic state, helps maintain the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa.

The drug helps to dilute mucus and normalize its production in the goblet cells of the mucous membrane.

The microelements that make up the drug improve the function of the ciliated epithelium.

The drug helps to wash off and remove street and room dust, allergens and haptens from the nasal mucosa, and reduce the local inflammatory process.

The device is a nasal wash kit containing neti-pot (nasal wash device) and 30 bags of Adriatic Sea salt enriched with hypoallergenic essential oils of myrtle (antiseptic and tonic) and helichrysum (antibacterial action).

Indications

1. adenoiditis; 2. acute, allergic, vasomotor rhinitis; 3. chronic diseases of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, paranasal sinuses, including those accompanied by dryness of the nasal mucosa; 4. prevention of infections of the nasal cavity in the autumn-winter period, when climatic conditions change (rooms with air conditioning and / or central heating), the presence of polluted atmospheric air (smokers, drivers of vehicles, hot and dusty workshops). 5. washing of wounds of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses before and after surgical interventions. 6. hygiene procedures of the nasal cavity (including in infants).

Contraindications

How to take, course of use and dosage

The duration of the course of therapy is 2-4 weeks. It is recommended to repeat the course in a month.

1. Nasal drops for children can be prescribed for treatment from the 1st day of life,2 drops in each nasal passage 4 times / day. For prevention-2-3 times/day. 1-2 drops each.

2. Spray nasal dosed indicated for the treatment of children at the age from 1 year to 7 years,2 injections in each nostril 4 times/day. ; children aged 7 to 16 years – 2 injections in each nasal passage 4-6 times/day, adults – 2-3 injections in each nasal passage 4-8 times/day. For prevention it is recommended nasal spray dosed children aged 1 year to 7 years: 1 to 2 sprays in each nostril 2-3 times/day. ; children aged 7 to 16 years – 2 injections in each nostril 2-4 times/day, adults – 2-3 injections in each nasal passage 3-6 times/day.

3. To soften and remove polluting accumulations and nasal secretions, the drug is injected or instilled into each nasal passage as much as the situation requires, eliminating excess fluid with cotton wool or a handkerchief. The procedure can be repeated many times until the accumulations of polluting particles are successfully softened or removed.

4. The otorhinolaryngological device with sea salt is recommended to be used daily: cut the bag and pour sea salt into the device.

Fill the device with boiled water of body temperature up to the mark and mix until the salt is completely dissolved.

Take a comfortable position in front of the sink. Tilt your head forward and turn it slightly to the side.

Take a deep breath and hold it. Apply the tip of the device to the upper nostril so that it is firmly pressed against it.

Tilt the device so that the solution begins to flow from the tip of the device into the nasal passage. The solution will flow out of the opposite nostril.

To remove the remaining solution from your nose, blow your nose without changing the position of your head.

Then blow your nose in a straight position.

Repeat the procedure with the other nostril.

After use, rinse the device with cool water and dry it well.

Special instructions

For newborns, the solution should be instilled into the nasal cavity with caution, with minimal pressure on the bottle (due to the risk of infection of the middle ear).

It is possible to simultaneously use other medications in the treatment of rhinitis. The advantage of the device is that the sea salt solution flows by gravity into the nasal passages and very effectively washes out bacteria, viruses, allergens, as well as mucus accumulations that interfere with normal breathing.

In addition, the device does not cause inflammation of the middle ear due to the fact that a solution of sea water enters the nasal passages without pressure.
