Pharmacological action

Infusion of linden flowers has a diaphoretic effect.

Recommendations for use

About 10 g (3 tablespoons) of flowers are placed in an enamel bowl,200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought with boiled water to 200 ml. Take inside hot 2-3 times a day: adults and children over 16 years – 1-2 cups; children from 13 to 16 years-1 cup; children from 7 to 12 years-1/2 cup; children from 3 to 6 years-1/3 cup; children under 3 years-1-2 tablespoons. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the drug;
• Pollinosis.

Description

A mixture of flowers, pedicels and pieces of bracts of various shapes. The color of the petals is whitish-yellow, sepals-greenish – or yellowish-gray, bract leaves-light yellow or greenish-yellow. The smell is faint, fragrant. The taste of the water extract is sweet, slightly astringent, with a feeling of mucusiness.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry place, protected from light. The finished infusion is stored in a cool place for no more than 2 days. Keep out of reach of children.
